Chet Cowart joined Nelson Financial Planning in August of 2018 as an intern then became a full-time member of the team in May of 2021. He is a Financial Planner with Nelson Financial Planning, Inc. (NFP) and a FINRA Registered Representative with Nelson Ivest Brokerage Services, Inc. (NIBS).

Chet is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC™), a Certified Financial Fiduciary®, a Notary Public in Florida; he holds a Series 7 Securities License with FINRA and a Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law License with NASAA.

Born and raised here in Central Florida, he enjoys spending time playing golf, training in martial arts, fishing, and traveling to various bucket-list destinations.

Chet is active in the community, staying involved with the Paralyzed Veterans Association and participating in their yearly golf tournament.
